James M. Sutton, Chief Executive Officer / Senior Manager:  Jim Sutton’s business background includes marketing and management as an advertising executive in New York.  Investigating new businesses, strategic planning, defining a unique selling point and product introduction were the hallmark of Sutton’s experience on Madison Avenue.  “We have focused all of our efforts, partnerships, vendor selections, personnel policies and acquisition guidelines toward a single purpose - the design and building of classic estate residences and fine homes.  The company’s principals agreed form the outset that to be successful we had to make a difference from our competition. To serve each client to the best of our abilities, we focus only on the individual homeowners, and not on the mass production market.”

Leigh Weaver, Director of Design, is responsible for the artistic vision of the company.

We try to select designs and materials that make each home captivating in its understated elegance while providing an intimate, warm and fresh experience from room to room. ”

Before taking on the artistic vision for Gordon’s Castle, her work in sculpture stood as a Jacksonville landmark and the city’s enduring symbol of strength; TOUCHDOWN has graced the entry to Jacksonville Municipal stadium since 1996. Weaver also created The Jaguar Foundation’s Love the Children logo. Weaver’s varied artistic experience have included the position of fashion director for a major women’s shoe company where her responsibilities included color and design work. Traveling the world at an early age to research fashion trends honed her sophisticated taste in art and architecture. Interior design and material selections for luxury homes are an extension of Weaver’s earlier work.

Morales-Keesee Design Associates, Inc,(MKDA) has emerged as one of the nation’s top creative residential design firms. As members of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Classical America, MKDA specializes in classical and traditional design. The firm has received numerous design awards. The addition of Bobby Morales, a renowned award winning designer of truly classic homes, has been an important part of building a team focused on custom building. Together with Leigh Weaver, our Director Of Design, GCLLC’s construction managers and a strong subcontractor base dedicated to designing and building large homes at a high level of custom finishing detail, Gordon’s Castle, LLC has assembled an effective team to execute the company’s vision of distinctive, understated and elegant homes.
